    I want to pay my subscription. I thought it was done automatically but my visa card has changed. I am quite dependent on https://heingroupoxford.com since I use it to communicate with a class I teach.

    Please don’t put me on any forums or email list. I was told to log in but I don’t where. I paid a student to make this wordpress page for me 2 years ago. I have learnt to modify a page, but now I can’t get in.

    Now I clicked on Moderator. Nothing came out of that. How much do I owe Word Press? And where should I send the money too? It looked as if it cost 7£/month and I might just as pay 2 years if possible so it last some time before I get in this situation again.

    Hi there, All support on WordPressdotcom is through written means. Users with a paid upgrade are routed to direct support by LiveChat and email when they post at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

    Staff participation in the community forums tends to be slower on the weekends and they will reply and assist you when they come through.

    If you paid for the upgrade from this username account, you should be able to see your upgrade in your Manage Purchases dashboard. https://wordpress.com/me/purchases and you can renew it from there. If you need to update your credit card info, you can do so from the Billing tab there. If someone else set up your site for you on WordPressdotcom, you might need to be logged in with their account. However, that is not something that I as a volunteer can see.

    Thanks to JustJennifer. I went to this page as recommended: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases I can’t see how you can pay there

    I have updated my credit card information so WordPress should have a functional card from me now

    The domain heingroupoxford.com and the Premium plan associated with it are owned by a different WordPress.com account. Therefore, you need to either contact the person that has set up your site or follow the instruction in our Account Recovery guide:

    -would it be possible for that other user to log in and then transfer the upgrades to @jotunhein or post here in this thread requesting to have the upgrades transferred to @jotunhein?

    The other user left 18 months ago and I don’t know anything about his whereabouts. It was a student that quit after depression.

    As @justjennifer mentioned — ownership of the upgrades for heingroupoxford.com can be transferred to your account if you are able to contact the owner (heingroup). You could try searching for them on social media or a service like LinkedIn.

    They would need to transfer ownership of the domain from their account to yours, but we can help transfer the plan over to you, with their permission.

    I appreciate you want to get this sorted but without any access to the account email address or contact with the upgrade owner, the account recovery form @fstat linked to will be the only way forward from here.

    We will find a way when I return to Oxford tomorrow. I paid 1000£ to have it made 2 years ago but the person completely vanished now including irresponsive on Facebook. And I am dependent on on for teaching so it is getting annoying and students mail me all the time.

    Just to add — it sounds like your card was charged for the upgrades last time. Is there any chance you can find a transaction ID for that payment (which can be used for account recovery)? If you can, please do not share that information here. We can follow up with you by email instead.

    I have now recovered my login for heinuser using lost password but it seems the user heingroup is not associated me (Jotun Hein). I have transaction ID.

    I see this on the www-page:

    “The domain heingroupoxford.com expired 4 days ago. I can be renewed by the user heingroup”

    we cannot recover user heingroup

  • @ jotunhein if you paid for the last renewal, you can gain access to user heingroup.

    Here’s how:

    1) Find the transaction ID on your statements:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/transaction-id/#if-you-dont-have-access-to-the-receipt

    2) Use the transaction ID to recover the account:

    If the transaction ID does not work in that form, please update us here and we’ll reach out via email to get the ID. Do not post it to our forums, though, as it’s private information. Thanks!

  • Please search your bank/credit card statements from 2017 for a charge from WordPress.com. When you locate that charge, retrieve the transaction ID following the instructions @supernovia gave you and send it to us via the Account Recovery form:
