  Https images linked from dropbox are showing up broken. Please help. I’m posting automatically to the blog from a zapier.com service.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you for using the WordPress.com forums.

  My thinking is that dropbox doesn’t work that way. I tried adding the image directly using the dropbox link (https://www.dropbox.com/s/yqphwloicl8gqn9/Plan-H302-Harris-County.jpg), and it doesn’t recognize the link as an image.

  I’d recommend contacting dropbox support for clarification and maybe even zapier to make sure that images should be posting to your WordPress.com blog through their app.

  replacing http://www.dropbox.com with dl.dropboxusercontent.com fixed the problem. Below link for more info.
