    Hello…why is my site showing http instead of https in Google search engines when entering ‘PaciTeether’? You can see the search result with a message about java script with the display http only prefix. The link does go to my WP website but it should be an https link instead.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there!

    If you ever used the domain somewhere other than WordPress.com, Google likely has outdated information and the site previews provided by Google may take some time to update. To speed up this process, you can ask Google to recrawl your site.

    It’s up to Google to decide what information to display as a search preview. You can try adding an excerpt to your post or page and updating your site title and tagline, but what is displayed is ultimately decided by Google.
