  how do I get this theme to update on my website? I updated the PHP and now the website does not load because of the theme

  If you’re using that theme, your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We cannot help with this in the WordPress.com forums.

  Please contact support for that specific theme directly for help with this.
