https with domain mapping

I know that currently wordpress.com doesn’t support SSL certificates for domain mapping — are there plans to do so?
With the recent pushes from Google and browser producers to have everything be https, this causes serious problems now. If you try to access my blog on its mapped domain via https in Chrome, Chrome won’t let you proceed directly, instead redirecting you to a page that says:
    “Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from andrewhickey.info (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).”

You can then only proceed if you click a very small link that says “advanced” and then click on from there.

As more things go https by default, this is likely to mean my site will no longer be accessible.

My various paid upgrades are due for renewal in a few weeks. I like WordPress.com’s service a lot, but I’ll have to cancel them and move my blog elsewhere if there are no plans to fix this…
