Hi folks, though I’m a wordpress design specialist – using self hosted versions of your outstanding application, I have turned my attention to very old wordpress.com blogs I had setup long ago.
I do have access to one account I had setup – idahofrontiers – and managed to delete some OLD blogs.
However, the primary one I would like to gain access to is giving me some problems. If I can’t login to http://wildwebwest.wordpress.com/ – because I cannot even remember what I used for a username, how can I gain access. All of the contact info goes to me, it is the name of my company “wildwebwest” but I have no idea how to get into the backend.
long ago I had an email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) but thats long gone. emails I use today don’t seem to provide access. Can you help me?
Mainly, I would like to be able to become refamiliarized with all the cool apps on the hosted wordpress.com blogs – and also I’m setting up a hosted version and learned about jetpack.
please assist. my phone number and email is posted at http://wildwebwest.wordpress.com/ so I can verify ownership through those means but stumped, otherwise. THANKS and sorry for the use of your valuable time. :)

The email address we use to register username accounts at wordpress.com becomes our unique identifier. http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

I don’t have the email address that was originally used to set that up. But if you could somehow be instrumental in guiding me from whatever the internal info is. Maybe I gave a secret question and can answer it. All the info on the site is mine, but what email or password was used to login I have no idea.
wildwebwest is my company. wildwebwest.wordpress.com is the original blog.
the email address unique identifier isn’t going to work. thanks much.

Oops, above I was logged into a customer account to activate jet pack. So Mellisa has nothing to do with this issue. my mistake.
In any case, Timethief, I have tried the username – wildwebwest – and the wordpress system does not recognize it.
I have tried every common email that I have used for years, and does not recognize. I’ve tried wwwcsi (my company use to be wild web west computer services, inc. now just wildwebwest, llc) but that didn’t work.
So there must be some data internally that wordpress can use to send out to verify my blog ownership.
Any other potential ideas?
