    I’ve embedded the audio files using the new WordPress playlist. A couple of issues I’ve noticed.

    • 1. The audio file stops playing after a period of time.
    • 2. It doesn’t appear to buffer the audio or continue to download unless you pause the audio.
    • 3. I can’t find any options for the playlist shortcode.

    After examining the source code I determined that the preload=none is set.
    example:

<audio controls="controls" preload="none" width="640" style="visibility: hidden"></audio>
<div class="wp-playlist-next"></div>

    I would guess that setting it to auto might work better. I’m also wondering if there is a way to create a playlist without referring to the files in a numeric way. For example, could I put the audio source (html location) in separated by commas instead?
