  I have other display issues: on the wordpress theme, custom header takes a split second to load and there is an instant annoying red box appearing just a flash before the custom image comes on..can this be eliminated? The image thereafter also doesn’t bear the nice rounded corners of the original..

  Please don’t hijack other people’s threads. If you did that in real life, you would probably get slapped.

  My guess is that your header image is too big, is taking a few seconrds to load and you’re seeing the background. Would need the link to be sure though.

  You can also alter the color of the flash just before the url. Plus you could Google for FOUC. Flash of unstyled content.
