Huge add over blog post
-
For some reason on Dyad 2 (or was it Dayd 2..) theme there is now a big add on top of my featured post. Shows on mobile and the whole post is under it? What can I do about it? Took a screenshot but can’t put it here for you guys to see. I have the free plan, but still I don’t think my page should be completely under an add? And it always shows with the same post, there’s two featured and changing in the carousel, and it’s always the same one that’s under the huge add.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
Ads have been appearing on WordPress.COM sites since 2006. However what you describe is strange and I cannot see an ad on your site.
Unless you purchase a Personal plan http://wordpress.com/pricing or a higher level Premium or Business Plan there will be ads placed by WordPress.COM on your site.
If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising. http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/
Any other ads appearing to you are not placed by WordPress.com. You have an issue on your browser or computer. They are being placed there by software on your own computer, unfortunately. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:

http://blog.wikimedia.org/2012/05/14/ads-on-wikipedia-your-computer-infected-malware/If you need Staff help about ads appearing on your site type modlook into the sidebar tags on a support forum thread, after providing screenshots.
You can use http://snag.gy/ or http://cloudup.com to share screenshots and link to them here. If you use the WordPress.com guide for screenshots http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/ you can and upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.

Hi,
I’m on iPhone 6, the add apparently doesn’t show on a computer (haven’t checked but if you don’t see it then must be ok for computers). I’m using Safari 11.0. My friend who has iPhone 7 and uses Safari, also sees the weird add. The screenshots are added, there’s from my phone IMG_3019 (before I did anything), IMG_3020 from my friend’s phone and IMG_3021 which shows what happened when I took off the other post from the featured.

Hi @dramaontheroad, can you upload the screenshots to wordpress.com/media, then update us here? We’ll take a look.

Thank you. Looks like it’s how this theme is handling the ad code. We’ve applied a temporary fix & will work on something more permanent for this theme. Thanks!
