Huh?
-
I want to delete the content of my blog but keep the name for possible future use. The WordPress software tells you to contact a support engineer – and then there is no option to do that. Really?
Blog url: http://softworks.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is the blog I’m asking about. The blog is still accessible to anyone browsing for it. Since it uses a company name and doesn’t have content, it doesn’t look very professional. I was hoping there was a means of disabling it so that it cannot be accessed. I would, however, like to keep the name available for the future so do not want to delete it. Is there an option to accomplish that?

Keep yourblog, but set it to private. Then it will not be on search engines and will not be accessible by anyone but you.
Go to Dasboard > Settings > Privacy
Click the option under site visibility that says “I would like My site to be private, visible only to users I choose”
SAVE YOUR CHANGES.
Keep track of your url and password so that you will be able to use it again.
