Huntt | Disable Auto-Expanding Menu
-
Hello there,
I’m terribly frustrated because I’ve been wasting hours with this issue. I’ve tried injecting CSS suggested in many other threads of Google but nothing has worked for me so far. I’m sure there’s a simple way to fix this but I just can’t find it.
I want to use “Huntt” theme, but I want the auto-expanding menu to stop expanding. I’ve a drop-down menu, and I want it to only open when someone clicks on the “+” because the auto-expanding menu just seems messy and with some bugs, the response is clunky and I’d just rather turn this function off.
I don’t want a sliding responsive menu!
So, how can I disable this auto-expanding menu function that comes with the “Huntt” theme? Please, I’ve tried a million different themes but this is the one I like best but I can’t use it if I can’t disable this function.

Hi, layout and functionality changes can get pretty complex with various media queries and what not, so they fall outside the scope of the CSS support we offer here.
But, if you wanted to hire someone to come up with some comprehensive code that covers all of the cases for you, we have a recommendation here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/upwork/
And, for what it’s worth:
I’ve a drop-down menu, and I want it to only open when someone clicks on the “+”
That’s how it’s working for me right now, with Chrome on Mac laptop.

Hi Supernovia,
Thank you so much for your response. Maybe I explained myself badly in the previous message.
That’s how it’s working for me right now, with Chrome on Mac laptop.
What do you mean with this?
Did you try to access my website on Chrome and it worked ?Because for me, clicking on the “+” works, however if you hover the mouse on the menu titles, it opens the auto-expanding sub-menus. And that’s what I want to disable.
