  I want to create a hyperlink inside my blog to link to an image. When the reader clicks on the hyperlink it will take him/her to the image. The image must not appear in the blog itself.

  Hi @hutchiesan,

  You want to link to an image and once clicking on the link, the reader is led to the image, outside your blog – is that correct?

  If I got it right, here’s a step by step guide to use hyperlinks on a blog post: https://en.support.wordpress.com/links/#creating-links-in-the-visual-editor.

  @stefaniamattana,

  Many thanks for this. All the other information I was finding was for placing an image in a post, or for clicking on an image inside of a post so that it links to something else. However, I don’t want the image inside of the post. You understood exactly what I want. I will try it later.
