Hyperlink ads showing up in my post preview
-
I am preparing a post for tomorrow … and when I view the preview, certain words have turned into hyperlinks for ads. Looking through my publicized posts, I don’t see any others. I’m worried about posting this tomorrow. I do not want these ads in my posts.
Thanks,

Please note that it’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were *not* placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser. It is quite likely that this is the source of the ads you are seeing.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:

Thanks so much. I had paid for “no-ads” and was very surprised to see this. Also, I’m usually very careful about clicking those extra things when I install something … but, there was something in my Safari extensions folder. I removed that and I’m all set!

Great to hear!
Well, not great to hear that there was crud in your browser, but great to hear that you tracked it down and got rid of it.
Happy blogging!
