Hyperlink from Calendar is not linking in Upcoming Events widget

  Hi,

  I’ve embedded a google calendar in the Upcoming Events widget, both in the sidebar and on a page. I entered a hyperlink into the Description on the google calendar i.e. <a href="http://www.slimspresents.com/events/2014-01-11/the-good-luck-thrift-store-outfit">Get Tickets</a> and the text “Get Tickets” is showing up in the Description column, but with no link attached.

  Any help in fixing this would be much appreciated!

  Great, thanks for the link. Unfortunately, The Upcoming Events Shortcode does not allow links inside the event descriptions, as Google does not output that text as a link. For this you will need to use the calendar shortcode here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/
