hyperlink in site title?

  I want to add a hyperlink to my main website in the description in the site title section on the front page.

  When I add a link in the customization section, the link is not hyperlinked. If I put in the HTML like in the text widget, the link shows up as the HTML and does not work either.

  Can someone direct me on how to do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Note that you cannot edit a site title to link to an external website.

  a) You can add the link in the sidebar, or you can create a custom menu and add that link as a menu item.
  b) The CSS editor is for CSS code only: you cannot paste URLs or HTML into it.
  c) If you want a link in the text of the tagline, the only way to do this via CSS is enter the text and the HTML for the link in a text widget, then use CSS to re-style the widget and re-position it in place of the actual tagline.
