hyperlink on image in text widget is coming up wrong

  I’ve setup Facebook and Twitter icons and have linked them with the proper URL through the text widget, only issue is that the url is pulling both the wordpress url and the facebook/twitter url, so it’s going to an invalid page on wordpress. Could anyone please help with this? Thank you!

  That’s because you have omitted the http part of the URLs. Code should be:
  <a href="http://www.facebook.com/ [etc. etc.]
