  Anyone care to share how to make wordpress show links within the posts on index page.

  http://support.wordpress.com/links/#visual-editor-links should do the trick, although some themes may display the “excerpt” on the front page, which would kill any links. What is your blog’s URL?

  I experimented with a plugin and make it work. Use “Advanced Excerpt” for this. Thanks Bubel for your helpful reply.
