Hyperlink query

  Help! In old WordPress, I used to be able to add a hyperlink which would show in the blog not as the hyperlink, but whatever text I chose to assign to it. For example, the hyperlink ‘https://wordpress.com/help/contact’ would appear simply as the word ‘contact’ in the finished post. I can’t work out how to do that in block editor, or switch back to the old editor… Thank you.
