Hyperlinking text or images in my content to another website

  How do I create a hyperlink from an image or text in my content to someone elses url/website, and so that it opens in a new window?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  The tag that you’re looking for is called the target=”_blank”

  So what you want will look something along the lines of this:

  <a href="http://www.someothersite.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://files.northernmlungu.wordpress.com/yourphotohere.jpg" /></a>

  Now keep in mind that for all of this, all you really need to do is click on the image in the visual editor then click the link icon. You can then enter the link which you want to link it to and make sure that you have checked the box to open it in a new window. Our system takes care of the code for you!
