Hyperlinks after upgrade from free to premium site

  What happens to existing hyperlinks (on Facebook, Pinterest etc) to free site if I upgrade to premium? Cheers.

  Hi there,

  Any links you’ve already shared with your free example.wordpress.com URL will continue to work if you upgrade to a custom domain – the free address will still exist in the background, and we’ll automatically redirect anyone who clicks on it to the corresponding page on your site at your new custom domain.
