Hyperlinks In Posts

    Dear WordPress Fam,

    How do I get rid of the ugly, double underline that comes up when I hover or go to click any of my hyperlinks in my posts.

    Cheers

    Hi there, the following CSS will take things back to just the single underline when a link in your content or comments is hovered.

    .entry-summary a:hover, .entry-content a:hover, a.comment-reply-link:hover, .comment-content a:hover {
        border-bottom: none;
    }

    In general it is a good idea to somehow differentiate links when hovered to help visitors know that they are on a link. This can be done with a color change or underline on hover, and a number of other styling.

    If you would like to include a color change, add the following instead and adjust the color as desired.

    .entry-summary a:hover, .entry-content a:hover, a.comment-reply-link:hover, .comment-content a:hover {
        border-bottom: none;
        color: #000;
    }

    Great! Thank you Sir, and I appreciate the tip – I used that.
