Hyperlinks Invisible in Ashe Theme
-
I just created a blog with the free Ashe theme. I’m running into a problem where any hyperlinks I use in blog posts show up invisible, so it looks like blank gaps are in my post. It’s not a problem with the hyperlink itself because if I click on the invisible spot, I am taken to the correct linked website. I’m guessing it’s some style thing that’s written into the coding of this theme that makes links invisible.
After doing Internet searches and finding people with similar problems online, I have tried to input many suggested style codes in the additional CSS panel to fix the problem. None of them have worked. Either the codes do nothing, or they will only change my site heading and not affect any of the hyperlinks in the blog posts. It’s like there’s some style overriding all the hyperlinks and differentiating them from the other links on my site. I tried searching in the theme coding for any information about text being coded in white or #ffffff, but couldn’t find it in there.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Please accept my apologies if I’ve misstated anything here. I’m not experienced with coding. This is all just based on Google searches in an attempt to fix this problem.
Thank you!

hi,
Your website does not look like it is hosted on WordPress.com.
We’re able to help only with websites hosted on WordPress.com.To clear up any confusion, there are 2 versions of WordPress. WordPress.com is a managed environment different from using the open source WordPress installation. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities.
For help with that site you will want to post in the WordPress community forums at https://wordpress.org/support/
You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:
https://wordpress.org/support/register.phpYour hosting provider customer support may also be able to help you.
Hope this helps
