Hypertext link brings me and viewers to editing page…
-
Hi. This is my second time asking for help, and the first time I got a response almost immediately (unlike other forums) so thanks for that. Anyway, on my site, Thrill Ride Report, when I click on the menu “Trip Reports”, it goes to that page, shows the description I wrote and below it says “2017” with a hypertext link. When anyone clicks on it, instead of leading them to the correct page it leads them to a WordPress sign in page. When I click on “2017” under “Site Preview” it leads me to the editing page for “2017”. I have the settings for that page set to public so I’m not sure why it isn’t working. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
When anyone clicks on it, instead of leading them to the correct page it leads them to a WordPress sign in page.
The 2017 link on the Trip Reports page has the link URL https://wordpress.com/page/thrillridereport.wordpress.com/179, which is the editor for a page with the ID “179.” Non-users of the site will be directed to the login page because it’s an administrative page.
What URL do you want the 2017 link to go to?

The link was created incorrectly. To resolve the issue, the link should be created again with the proper link URL.

The sub-menu item “2017” under Trip Reports in the menu links to the page https://thrillridereport.wordpress.com/trip-reports/2017-2/. Whereas the “2017” link in the page titled “Trip Reports” links to an administrative page.
A text link may be created as described in the Links support page, and a text link will have the following basic form:
<a href="link URL">link text</a>
