I accidentally deleted my entire blog. HELP.

  SO… when I first started creating my blog, I was working under WordPress.com. Then I decided to go the self-host route, and began creating all of my content/logging into WordPress via my BlueHost account. My domain is journal-ish.com.

  If I logged in to my WordPress.com account, I wouldn’t see any of the work that I’d done from my Bluehost side… but the restrictions I had on my .com side still applied, for some odd reason, because I had the domain linked to both. Or at least I thought I did.

  I thought that maybeeeee if I deleted the .com side of things and strictly worked from the BlueHost login side, that would fix everything. So I deleted it. And now everything is gone on both ends and I just have a page that says “domain is parked.”

  Naturally, I’m panicked. What do I do? How do I get it back? How did deleting my WordPress.com version erase a completely different body of work?

  The domain registration was removed in addition to deleting your free site.

  It’s the domain cancellation that is causing this trouble for you.

  Please confirm that you are looking to restore journal-ish.com on jaciescott.wordpress.com?

  I’ll try to get it fixed up once I hear back with confirmation.

  We were able to restore your domain for you. To use it with another host, please use these steps:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  You can also try transferring your domain:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  The exact same thing happened with me and my domain. I transferred my domain to siteground as my partner had already bought a plan with them. However, when I went through siteground to wordpress it took me back to my cancelled plan (one which I was refunded for) so I assumed, since my domain was with siteground, I should delete it on wordpress. Now it’s completely gone. Was your case able to be sorted out?
  If any staff see this please would you assist me urgently, I’d be incredibly grateful.
