I just wanted to like another bloggers content. My content is here: docmolly.com. I thought I was using username docmolly, but see I accidentally entered docmollu and I do not want to start a new wordpress site. Do you have any recommendations re: how I could fix my username and connect my profile with my current site. Thank you.

Is there a way to redirect my account from docmollyspanish.wordress.com to docmolly.com? I did not realize when I started the blog, it would not allow me to make my primary site something else. Thank you!

To clear up any further confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities. We, WordPress.com are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites whereas WordPress.org is a stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

Now, your site docmolly.com is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with another company. If you’d like to connect your site to your WordPress.com account, you’ll want to install a plugin called Jetpack:
