I accidentally unsubscribed from a blog. Help.

I have been receiving posts from a blog hosted at wordpress.com for a couple of years. I inadvertently unsubscribed from it? Is there a way to recover the deleted blog?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This link has lots of information and steps on how to follow blogs including a section on unfollowing blogs. The simple way would be to find that site again via their web address and click “follow”.

Unfortunately, the linked website no longer has a subscribe link that I can find.
see Around the Town – Chicago.The contact links there are out dated but I left a comment and heard from the blogger, Al Bresloff. Oddly, he wasn’t aware that his blog posts were being emailed to a list.
I just found the email I got in 2015 asking me to confirm my request to subscribe to the blog. I clicked through and got a message on the WordPress blog management site stating:
Your subscription could not be activated. It may have expired, or the email address you subscribed with is not attached to your WordPress.com account.
The email address is the only one I use with WordPress.

Hmm.. The link in my first post was to one of my blogs. That was input by error. My problem is with a different blog. http://www.aroundthetownchicago.com/

A busy night. I followed the instructions to click on Reader>Manage> and added the link. It now appears again in the list of sites. We’ll see if I start getting emails from the site again.
