I accidently deleted my "Welcome to WordPress" Site page

  I honestly dont know what to do. I can edit all the other pages from that page but i cant edit that specific one. I tried to check in my deleted files but i couldnt find it anywhere. I am worried about my site launch. Will it affect it?? Will i not have a homepage for people to click on??? Please help me. What should i do?? I even tried getting a new theme but it still didnt come back.

  Hi there,

  It appears that after you deleted the page, you also deleted it from the Trash folder, so I’m afraid that page is now gone with no way to get it back.

  But you can just set a different page as your homepage. Either create a new page, or use one of your existing pages.

  Make sure the page is set to Published, not draft. Then go to Appearance ->Customize ->Homepage Settings. Select the Static Page option, and then select the page you want as the homepage under the Front Page drop-down:
