  Did you tried updating the DNS settings from your domain provider? If not, do it now. Here’s how: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  DNS – Domain Name Server i.e On which Host your domain is pointing to.

  To Work with WordPress.com you need to map your domain with WordPress and then at your domain registrar end manage your domain and then change the DNS of that domain to the WordPress Name Servers that are:

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Can you tell me which domain did you purchased?

  If you avail your domain from godaddy.com here are the simple steps you need to do.

  -Log on to your account in godaddy.com
  -On the DOMAINS portion click the DNS button
  -On the NAMESERVERS click “Change”
  -Remove/Delete the old nameservers and replace with the following”

  NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  -Then save it!

  Let me know if you are using another domain provider, I’m sure it will be the same procedure.
