I already have a domain, how do I avoid fees

  Hello! I already have a domain that I paid for, but I want to use WordPress to manage my website. Why is WP trying to charge me $99 for my own domain??

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Having the same problem, previously it only cost 13.00 dollars to map it.

  Can’t you just arrange a 301 forwarding from the web-hosting for your domain? This will simply map to the WordPress address, and mask the page title with whatever you set there.

  nope it causes too many misdirects :( plus i followed this process previously and it was really simple, and now it wont let me map a domain without spending 99 dollars, and previously it was 13 to map it
