i already have a hosted domain?

    Hi, am really finding it hard to know how to go about my already hosted domain.I dont have a site yet but i was wondering if this can be integrated to my wordpress site.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    With a “hosted domain” do you mean you already own a domain that you want to use with your site, http://earnmesmiledotcom.wordpress.com/, which is hosted on WordPress.com?

    Or do you mean you have a domain that already has a website installed at a different hosting provider?

    If it’s the first, you need the domain mapping upgrade to connect that domain to your site. Hosting refers to who controls the servers where your site’s content is stored, so we’d be your host regardless of whether you use the free URL or the custom domain you own. To add domain mapping you’ll need to purchase one of our plans under My Site ->Plans. Each of the plans include a free domain or domain mapping.

    If it’s the second, can you please explain what you mean by integrating a site hosted somewhere else with your site hosted on WordPress.com? WordPress.com sites and self-hosted sites are two completely different things, and for the most part are incompatible with each other. You could link the two sites to each other via the menu or a widget, but that’s about it.
