I already paid for premium subscription; why am I asked to pay to get one?
-
I paid for a premium subscription when I registered the site but set up initially with a free theme because it was faster. Now I want to upgrade since I already paid for it and there’s no recognition I already purchased the upgrade. I’d like my money back or access to a free premium theme. Advice?

Just so we are on the same page, WordPress.com Premium includes:
-A Free Domain
-Custom Design
-VideoPress
-Space Upgrade
-Ad-FreeFor more info, you can refer to this page: http://store.wordpress.com/premium-upgrades/pro-bundle/
Despite the similar name, WordPress.com Premium doesn’t include any of the Premium themes available here:
thelovethatdoesjustice.wordpress.com has WordPress.com Premium applied to it and the included domain registration was used to register thelovethatdoesjustice.com.
Does that make sense? Please let me know if you have further questions.

Thanks, rootjosh. That is helpful — I was under the false impression when I spent the money that the premium package paid for a premium theme. You guys might do well to reconsider the naming to avoid that confusion in the future. But anyway, here’s my question, then: if I want to keep the theme I have and make it work, how do I get help with it? Oxygen, at least as it manifests for me, says it has only one sidebar, on the left, and I can work with that one. But on the right appears another sidebar which does not show up anywhere so I can’t work with it. Suggestions? (Also, I assume it’s too late to get my money back for the premium thing?) Thanks for all your help,

In general, the “themes” forum is a good place to ask for theme-related help:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/themes
And indeed, here’s someone who had that same issue:

The short version is that, those are the default widgets. If your secondary sidebar area is empty, they appear. Add some widgets to your secondary sidebar area, and you will see your added widgets instead of the defaults.

I am afraid that it is. There is a 30 day limit for upgrade refunds.
Please let me know if you have further questions or if anything is unclear.
