  I have 2 domains – wedovote.com and wedovote.org

  I am creating a website in wedovote.org and a blog in wedovote.com

  I am hosting on GoDaddy and using WordPress.

  Why do I get wedovote.com when I enter wedovote.org in the address search bar of the browser?

  You need to update the nameservers. The nameservers control where traffic for the domain goes using DNS. If you are moving from WordPress.com to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, you can enter the nameservers provided by your web hosting company to switch your domain to their hosting service.
