  I want to fix the problem of my page taking forever to load! But the technical terms of ‘what to try’ don’t help me: I really need direct support from someone that can either walk me through step by step via phone/ chat; or that can log into my dashboard and figure out what the heck is going on that is causing the site to take so long to load.

  Now, since updating, I can’t even edit properly: the word editing functions are not working.

  I called support at Network Solutions web hosting and they said it has to do with wordpress settings/ content not their hosting of it. ):

  I really want to actually connect with a person, not the support blog! I have no idea about codes/ etc. unless someone were to walk me step by step through the process. Very frustrated. Ready to revise my entire site and carry to a new format that is not wordpress unless someone can help me figure it out! Was no prob until about a week ago. Now it stalls out when loading–especially to phone, and ALSO since updating I can’t even edit the pages like I used to!!! AAARGGH!!! I believe this is a wordpress problem and they are not *Really* offering customer support directly the way that would be helpful to me. );

  I understand, but you said it yourself: your site is hosted by Network Solutions, not WordPress.com. When Network Solutions refers to “WordPress settings”, they are in fact referring to the WordPress software, not the WordPress.com hosting. (Those are two different things, as explained here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ )

  The WordPress.com support forums (where you are posting right now) can only help with sites hosted by WordPress.com.
