I am being cyberstalked

There is a Word Pres blogger who has become obsessed with my blog. he has published my home address, refers to me in derogatory terms, has committed libel and has repeatedly used foul language in my comments, :including “Suck my fat one you smelly nazi cow.” I think he is unbalanced and I do think this is beyond abusive.
He is now posting that he has come on my blog and left comments under various names in an effort to try to “uncover” some alleged disparity in the manner in which I moderate comments. i have never left a single comment on his blog yet he has emailed me and left comments despite the request on my blog the he not do so.
What is the Word Press policy on this?

Hi. The best thing to do would be to collect as much information about the blogger as you can — IP Address, email address, including any libellous material, and contact the police as well as a lawyer. WordPress are not the police, and will not be able to do anything for you… at least according to an FAQ / Forum search for similar instances (search the Forum for “Harassment” and you’ll find some advice).
Unfortunately, since you’re blogging with your real name, information available about you online — address, phone number, etc — becomes part of the public record and can be accessed legally by anyone. You should know it would take anyone less than thirty seconds to find your home address, which becomes publicly available once you register your URL.
Believe me, if he lives in the US, Canada, Australia or most of Europe, the police can reach out and touch this guy, never underestimate what effects the offline world can have on the online one. So start collecting information.
There are also things you can do to protect yourself online from the people who want to find you… to avoid any similar problems in the future you should at least look into registering your site through a proxy, the one I find to be most used is: http://domainsbyproxy.com/

The WordPress policy as I understand it (and I am not staff) is that if infractions of the law have taken place, including the stalking laws, then you should contact law enforcement. If you believe you’ve been libeled, then you should contact a lawyer.
WordPress.com bans illegal speech, but note that libelous speech is not illegal speech. If you want to take action on that, I suggest you contact a lawyer.
