  How would I go about using this theme exactly?
  I have no idea where to start, I used to years ago, but apparently I have forgotten everything!

  Thanks for the link. And consider linking it in your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forums. It will make it easier for volunteers in the forums to help you.

  You cannot use that theme – or any theme you download – here. The only themes that are available to your are those in your dashboard. WordPress themes that are available for download can only be used on blogs that are self-hosted, ie, not hosted here at wordpress.COM.
