I am confused!

    I was led to WordPress.com for webhosting for a Blog. My intention was to create and manage a Blog for the purpose of generating income by way of affiliate program and such. When I created my first link, I was informed that this is against WordPress policy but that I could use WordAds instead.
    What is WordAds and how do I use it? Do I create a whole new site there? I see comments about adding WordAds and I I see that you have to be approved…
    Can anybody chat with me to explain what the heck is going on?

    If your whole purpose is to generate income, WordPress.com is not for you. You need a WordPress.ORG install on paid hosting.

    WordAds is a program where WP.com puts ads on your site (far fewer than you’re probably thinking of using) and you split the income 50/50.
