I am frustrated to tears. I don't understand the jargon

I have managed to set up a blog and have written a lot. I don’t understand any of the help articles I read. I don’t know what a HTML is. I can never understand ‘HOW’ to follow the instructions. ‘Go to the general’ something. but I can’t find it.
I need to edit. cut and paste. Put my files in order. cronologicial order maby. Its kind of a story of my life.
I write here as a journel. I am also writing memories from years ago as I think of them.
I would like to change the names. Some are misspelled.
All the help articles give me to much information. I don’t understand the terms. I need step by step instructions.
I have started writing in Office because It seems like all the hours I spent recording in wordpress may be lost to me.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

this box says something about check spelling? It seems to be the only place to write. I can’t even find the dashboard when I click on one of the blogs I can’t get back to the dashboard “My sites” without logging out and back in again.
I need basic how to get started in plain English. No abriviations in caps cuz not everyone knows what they mean -
Ok, if I understand, you can’t find your dashboard
When you are on your blog, your should see (in the left corner) something called “My sites” (or “Mes sites” in french). Click on here, then you can access your dashboard. If you want to stay log in to WordPress, you can click on the button “stay connected” (or something like that) when you logging.
