I am getting notifications for a blog I am not following.
-
I only use my WordPress.com account to manage features of my blogs (e.g., Jetpack). I am now getting notifications of new posts on the Pepco blog (pepcoconnect.wordpress.com). I don’t remember ever subscribing to that blog. I can’t see anything on that site to let me stop notifications. When I check my WordPress.com account, I can’t find the site anywhere (Reader, Notifications, etc.). I’ve also checked the subscription management page and don’t see it there. Any idea how to stop these notifications?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There should be a link at the bottom of every email saying either how to unsubscribe or how to manage subscriptions. Try logging out of WordPress.com and then clicking the manage subscriptions link in the bottom of the email. Does that get you to a screen where you can turn off the subscription?

Thanks for your response. I can’t check the emails right now as I can’t find them. :( I’ll hang on to this suggestion for when the next notification appears.

You could just wait for the next email to come in and check it then.
Or I can also help you find how to unsubscribe manually. Try the following steps:
1. Log out of WordPress.com
2. Go to https://subscribe.wordpress.com
3. Enter the email address where the unwanted messages are being sent
4. Click the “Request Details” button
5. Find the email and click the link in itYou should be able to see a list of subscriptions for the email you entered and clicking the “Unfollow” link next to a blog will remove it from the list.

As a matter of fact, I had already done just what you suggested. I saw the blog subscription there and deleted. Hopefully, that’s the end of it.
Thank you so much for your help.
