I am having diffulties mapping my wordpress blog to a subdomain of my main page

  I own a main domain that I host in Wix where my main webpage resides. I also have a wordpress blog but would like to map it to the subdomain of my main page for consistency and SEO benefits. I have already created CNames in my main domain to point the subdomain ( blog.scan-arte.com) to my wordpress blog. When I upgrade and try to map the subdomain blog.scan-arte.com in wordpress it give me an error message saying the this is not a valid domain. I tried mapping the main domain which it did but now it makes my blog disappear as it points it to the main page…. HELP!

  Sorry for the trouble! I just corrected your domain mapping so it’s linked to the correct subdomain (blog.scan-arte.com). You can now access your blog here: http://blog.scan-arte.com/

  Thanks Rachel. Is there that you can link it to a subdomain called scan-arte/blog instead?

  No, WordPress.com doesn’t support mapping to subdirectories (like scan-arte.com/blog). We have some notes about that in our guide for mapping a subdomain if you’d like to read more.
