  WordPress does not support google adsense plugin. If you want to monetize your site then I would recommend you to try wordads.

  @azaleaazelia, WordPress.com doesn’t support Google Adsense under any plan except the business plan. You can use WordAds instead. See https://wordads.co for more details.

  On a side note, it’s always better to start a new thread (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1) of your own to get proper and faster resolution to your query.
