Hi efrancebeauty,
You can see the the plans you have purchased for your site on this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
If you need to request a refund, you can do so within 30 days: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
Let me know if you have more questions about this!

Can you tell me the benefits for going to a premium level? Will I get more SEO or more exposure to the general public?
-
The Premium Plan is recommended for entrepreneurs and freelancers. It give you access to live chat and email support, unlimited Premium themes, and more storage and ability to customize your design. You can see details for all the plans here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
Upgrading to Premium won’t necessarily give you a better search ranking or exposure, but it does give you the option to use a custom domain name.
If you could share a bit more about what you are trying to accomplish with your site, I’d be happy to help with more suggestions.

Thank you so much. I am so frustrated with trying to build my online business and because there is much I don’t know, I don’t know what I dont know, (if that makes sense)
I currently have my website with Go Daddy. I seem to be getting a decent amount of hits on my site (according to them) but I don’t necessarily believe their stats. I don’t have many sales so either no one wants what I am selling, or the numbers I see are misrepresented.
I was wondering if I upgraded on worldpress to a premium blog, or if I created a website with WordPress ( I can’t seem to figure out how to do it) maybe more people will see my site and want to purchase from me. I am so frustrated because I am doing this all by myself and it is very challenging. I thought maybe I am not doing SEO correctly. I don’t even know if SEO is so important. -
Hey efrancebeauty,
It’s true what @jamiepalatnik is saying about the WordPress premium plans. I also thought I’d point you in the direction of some amazing resources from WordPress about growing your site and helping people to discover your business.
This site is super-helpful in getting to grips with the WordPress platform: https://learn.wordpress.com/
This 10-day free email course will help you build your business: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/business-website/ (hit the signup button to get a new lesson in your inbox each day!)
Once you’re done with that, you can dive into articles on The Daily Post (from WordPress) for tips, strategies and inspiration for growing your blog: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/
The resources are out there – hopefully you’ll benefit from these!

If you are not so familiar with the WordPress system, you might be better off hiring someone who knows more about WordPress. Like me :)

You don’t need to pay anyone for this. There is some configuration you need to do to make sure your site is ready for search engines to index – on WordPress.com or if you activate the Jetpack plugin on a self-hosted site we do that for you; you can also use other plugins like Yoast SEO on a self-hosted site.
But more important in getting your site high in search results is the quality of your content. Content that’s original, and updated regularly are preferred by search engines. Upgrades won’t help with that, but we do have some tips here that might:
As to your original question, you don’t currently have any upgrades on WordPress.com. You had purchased a Premium Plan about a year ago, but you cancelled that two days later.
