I am having trouble migrating my subscribers

  Hello, wordpress says that you guys can help move my subscribers over for me from wordpress.com to my new wordpress.org. If this is the case how do I make this happen? I was having trouble doing it myself.

  Hi Olivia,

  Sorry for the trouble you had with that! I can move your subscribers for you.

  Before I do, I just want to make sure you’re aware of one difference in how the subscriptions will work on your new site:

  Your email followers will continue to receive email updates, and your WordPress.com followers will continue to see your new posts in the Reader (but won’t automatically continue to receive email updates). If your WordPress.com followers would like to receive email updates, as well, they can subscribe via email on your new blog.

  Please let me know if you have any questions about that. If that sounds ok and you’re ready to move the subscribers, let me know and I’ll go ahead and do that for you. :)

  Okay, that would be wonderful, thank you! One more question, is there a way to transfer my likes on posts from wordpress.com?

  Hi Olivia,

  Likes can’t be transferred, but I’m sure you’ll start building those up on your new site again. :) If you’d like, I can transfer your WordPress.com site’s stats to your new site so you have the full history of your stats there.
