You failed to provide any relevant information at all. Perhaps Staff can help but they cannot do that without relevant information.
- What is the domain URL?
- What is the underlying .wordpress.COM URL?
- Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.COM URL and purchased the upgrade for it?
When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads. I did that for you.

I am currently trying to pay for my annual domain mapping charge. I have paid this the last two years. I am receiving a message that “This subscription was originally purchased by another user. Please ask the subscription owner to renew the subscription.” It will not accept my payment and will expire in 5 days.

Aha! That is the cause of the issue right there. You do not own the blog.
Companies, organizations, and groups of any kind do not own wordpress.COM hosted blogs. Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
You can contact the actual owner of the blog and have them renew or transfer the blog to you so you can proceed with the renewal. See here please: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

our site is https://childrenscooppreschool.com/. I am currently listed as the only person on the account in the profile and was able to pay the past two years. There is no one else to talk to. Am I missing something?

I really would like to receive help from a staff member of wordpress who can help resolve my issue with paying for the annual mapping domain fee. I have paid the past two years from this computer and this year it will not allow me to pay. There is only a few days left until it expires. I have not received help and will not have time to work on this all weekend. I simply want to pay. Can someone please help?

I tagged this thread for Staff the first time I posted above. Staff work their way forward through all threads tagged for help in datestamp order. The address threads with the earliest datestamps, first and move forward to the most recently tagged threads, as would be expected. This thread is a queue for Staff posting into it again and again, will not result in quicker service as there is no line jumping. Please be patient while waiting your turn.

We can get this sorted out for you.
So Timethief is correct, the reason you cannot renew the upgrade is that the WordPress.com user account you are posting from is not the user account that purchased the upgrade.
I am currently listed as the only person on the account in the profile and was able to pay the past two years.
There are 4 users listed on your WordPress.com site and two of them are Administrators. The account you are posting from is one, and then there is another. The other Administrator account is the one that purchased the upgrade. Take a look here:

You will need to log into the other account in order to renew the upgrade.
Does that clear things up?

Is there any way you can transfer ownership to the other administrator? This is a website for a preschool-the parent in charge of the website changes every year. We’ve written to the email of the other administrator, but this is someone who is no longer part of our preschool.
