Why can't I get Facebook Publicize to work?

I previously had my blog able to post to Facebook automatically upon publishing a post. However, now the instructions to publicize to Facebook appear in a yellow box instructing me to go to the provided link to authorize connection with Facebook. I have gone through this process several times, I am told that I am now authorized to publish to Facebook, but it still doesn’t work. After all of this, the yellow box shows up again. It is posting to Twitter fine, but not to Facebook. I have even gone so far as to delete the wordpress app on Facebook so that I can start the process fresh. I have to post to Facebook manually. This is not a huge problem other than that I would like to schedule a publishing because I will be out of town where internet is not available. Any help you can give me will be appreciated.

In addition, Facebook does show that WordPress has been authorized to connect with it and that whatever it publishes can be made public. If I delete the app, I can go to the link provided by WordPress and re-allow it. If I do not delete it, the link takes me directly to my WordPress Dashboard.

One last observation, the WordPress app shows up under my Facebook account settings and thus allows me to look at its settings and to delete it, but it does NOT show up on my Apps page with all of my other installed apps.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re encountering this problem. Can you try disconnecting and then resetting the connection to Facebook, following the instructions on this page?
