I am hoping to build a new website which I can easily administer, but I already have one. I want to see if I can build one here but it seems WordPress already wants me to commit before even trying out your templates.

  Can’t I just try and use your tools to see if your website builder would be something I want to use? Without signing over anything yet?

  You can create a WordPress blog free of charge and you can continue on that free plan for as long as you like. https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  The only thing you need to sign are ToS, something you sign whenever you create an account on any website, really. In fact, I think you’ve already agreed to it while creating your account.
