If you want to leave a .wordpress.COM hosted blog you have been made an official user of by way of invitation you can use the leave a blog option. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#leave-a-blog
If you want to leave a .wordpress.ORG hosted blog see: Disconnect Jetpack Sites https://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/

Nothing works! It is a Jetpack Site (says it’s activated) but I get no option for settings so can’t do that.
On the other option, when I hover over the URL I get no option to leave.
I am so fed up! I can do everything but leave or get rid of this blog. I really need WordPress to intervene and get rid of it for me. I don’t know what the owner did to add me to the blog as an author but it seems that I can do everything but leave it. It’s been years and I can’t escape.
He has another blog on WordPress I found with a contact form but doesn’t answer his email either. I will NEVER link to another WordPress blog that isn’t mine again.
Please help! I have some good blogs with WordPress and I’d hate to leave because of this.
I actually found these options yesterday but tried them again because you got back to me. I’m a pretty knowledgeable webmaster on WordPress and can’t figure this out.

BTW, I don’t need help with Capricious Poet that’s my blog I need help with the one I listed.

Hi there,
https://writewithjishnu.wordpress.com/ is not a Jetpack site. It’s a WordPress.com site.
To leave that site, go to the My Blogs page in WP-Admin and click the Leave Blog option as @timethief mentioned above:
https://writewithjishnu.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs
https://cloudup.com/cROb5WIRrbu
The Leave Blog option will appear when you hover your mouse over the site title on that page.

It said it had Jetpack even though it was a WP site so I was confused. I couldn’t follow those directions from @timethief because the option did not show up like in the picture.
Thank heavens, today the site was just gone. It’s my opinion that I got an email through to the owner using a contact form on another WP site they had that I found yesterday and they unshared me. It’s a good thing since I didn’t have any other options and I asked him years ago.
I’d hate to think that if he didn’t respond that there would have been no other way. WP should really be able to help in those situations because although I found that dialog, the setting to leave was missing. Those things do happen.
The only thing I know is that I’m free after years and happy for it. I will never share a site that isn’t mine again you can’t rely on strangers even if you think they’re responsible.

It looks like the site owner removed you, yes.
Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
