I am locked out and WP won’t even respond to support enquiries!
-
My User account has been suspended without even any notification from WP; I have sent TWO support requests to find out why and NO response for my other blogs under user name ‘rockyfive’ (blogs 7million7years.wordpress.com and 7m7y.wordpress.com).
These are legitimate blogs with hundreds of daily readers and citations in US News ( http://www.usnews.com/articles/business/your-money/2009/04/14/10-secrets-of-millionaires-money-management.html ) and overseas papers as far away as Belgium ( http://monargent.lecho.be/actu/riche_et_celebre/7_caracteristiques_de_millionnaires.8185725-1781.art ).
I accept NO advertising on the blog, no link exchanges, promote no products or services, etc., etc.
If any error has been made it is most likely inadvertent, yet WP gives NO explanation and NO opportunity to correct it, how can a company just wipe away 18 months of solid work just like it’s dust, without any opportunity to discuss/correct?
Please help!
Adrian.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m redirected to here, http://7million7years.com/ , and I see it just fine. I see this one just fine also http://7m7y.com/ .
-
Yes the blogs are still up, but I cannot login to access my administrator console to add/delete posts and comments, etc.!!
Thanks for looking!

OK, while logged out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.
-
Typically when wordpress suspends a blog, the blog disappears, not the user account. Sometimes they will lock the admin area if they need to talk with you about content, but there will always be an alert in your dashboard with a link to contact them. On the weekends staff runs a smaller crew so it can take up to 24 hours for a response.
-
It’s best if you contact staff directly for this matter so they can help you because most of the time staff don’t check the forums as much as the volunteers do because they are busy with other things related to WordPress here is the contact link » http://support.wordpress.com/contact/
-
I have already sent a request via that contact form (thanks!) and sent an e-mail to support [at] wordpress [dot] com but have not received any acknowledgement or reply on over 48 hours … which is why I am posting here!
Can you help to get me the necessary access to my blog and/or response so that I can properly address any issue?
-
@ thesacredpath – clearing cookies etc. does not help and I cannot even login [“Error: account Suspended” message] to access my admin. console
-
You will then have to wait unit staff gets back to you. Since they have not actually archived the blogs, I would think that it is something that can be worked out.
-
I first sent the two support requests in (via different channels) circa Friday am; so, waiting even longer for a response is not really a great option :)
On the one hand: GOOD … my blogs are still up, so I presume (hope) that this is indeed a resolvable issue!
On the other hand: BAD … I write daily, so my readership will plummet if they see nothing new from me :(
-
Make sure and check your email spam filter at your ISP to make sure that the emails haven’t been caught by it. Also make sure you are checking the email address that you used when you set up the blogs under settings > general (yes I know you cannot access it right now). That is where the responses will be sent.

-
I’ve done that (for the 3rd time, now!) … still no response! Where are the Staff Members on this forum, when you need them???? :(
-
-
Oh, and the staff members are generally NOT on the forum at all, as was explained above. The forum is almost entirely staffed by volunteers.
-
Well WP unlocked my account … again, no explanation.
It’s happened twice now: locked/unlocked … no reason given either time. Good luck with your hockey tickets: I own the team! ;)
