  • Clearing the browser cache and/or logging out and back in again seems to be working for most people while we track down and fix this.

    Have you tried that?

    Yes. How long does this take to sort out? We’re now on Day 6.
    But that doesn’t change the fact that you’re as good as eliminating my Categories.

  • To clarify if you reset your browser cache and cookies does the issue go away? If not please make sure you do not skip this, as it will resolve the issue in most cases.

    To explain, there is not a problem with your user account, but our engineers have identified that Chrome has an issue where the “cookie” that allows you to edit your content is becoming broken, which causes the “you are not able to edit’ message to appear.

    Clearing your cache and cookies will clear up this issue, and other site owners have reported that it is working for them. Does it work for you too?

    Did you try with another browser? I have no problems with Firefox.

    I can’t access my 100s of Categories – when I hit the Block it just moves wholesale into the post. Can someone please help???? Years of establishing detailed links across my posts and all up in smoke because of this new Block Editor.

    Can you please explain what exactly are you trying to do and what happens instead? A screenshot would be very helpful to understand the issue. You can use an online tool for that (such as https://snipboard.io/) and paste the link into your reply.
