I am looking to create a website with wordpress for people to buy clothes

    I am deciding between using wordpress and wix or other platforms to sell clothes online. Can I customize the site to allow others to upload their clothes to sell, can customers filter size, color, brand of clothes?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    You can do this on WordPress.com with the right plugins, yes. You’ll need an ecommerce plugin like WooCommerce, and if you want to allow other people to sell their clothes through the site, you’ll also need some kind of marketplace plugin.

    Using plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business or eCommerce plan.

    For advice on the best plugins to use for something like this, please ask the WordPress.org community for advice – those are the people who make the WordPress software and plugins for that software, so have the most experience to give advice on that.
