this blog is 20% of the final mark
Whoa! That just upped the pressure :D
You can definitely be proud of what you’ve done with the site. It looks great. Just remember to also launch it, so your tutor will be able to see it:

Good luck with the remainder of your degree!

Hi there Kokkieh… Well I think I can publish but have discovered my blogs are not in order on the blog page. We go from November to September and miss October, although they are showing in order on My Site. I am lost again. OOOps Sorry.

Hi there,
I see that you are using the Latest Post Block for your blog page, but it looks like you segmented them all into three separate blocks. You can simplify this by just adding all the posts into one latest post block and increase the number of items under the Sorting and Filtering module.
However, if you want to keep the format you have, you can increase the number of items in that same module on the right and it will display your October posts:
For more information on the Latest Post Block and how to use it, please visit our support page here:

Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!

Hi there,
I tried-I really did but maybe I’m tired because I have been on this darned laptop all day.
I eventually got them ordered but some have repeated at the bottom with additional info- I have no idea what I did to get these. Can you please help? The oldest is early September-7th I believe and the latest is one in January. I promised to launch it today so my tutor can read it but I want my sons to proof-read it first.
Can I ask you to please save me again? Thanks -
The issue is that you’re trying to manually do something that naturally will order itself. So you’ll need to make a few more edits here.
Go in to edit your “Blog” page and open the “list view” menu:

You’ll see the item labeled “Query Loop” – this is the thing that will automatically display your blog posts in newest first order.
The two “Latest Posts” blocks also do the same thing as that query loop, so click one of the Latest Posts blocks, click the “three dot” menu, and choose “Remove Latest Posts”.
This won’t delete any of your posts – it’s only going to delete that display block.
Do the exact same thing for the other “Latest Posts” block, then update your page.
That should remove those duplicate entries.
Once you do that and if you still have questions, feel free to respond back to us.
Thanks!

Hi there,
Thanks for the instructions.
I think I have done it now. Would you mind checking? Thanks -

Thank you all for all your help. I would not have done this without you. My sons are proof-reading it now before I sent it to my tutor for feedback.
Thanks again all.
Love you guys.
Frances
